It is our great joy to showcase Botswana’s beauty to our South African neighbours in a budget-friendly way
As our neighbours at the tip of Africa, South Africans share a love of wild places with us. So, it’s important to us that, when they dream about experiencing the bush beyond their borders, budget doesn’t stand in the way.
That’s why we have developed a special just for South African residents in the exquisite beauty of Moremi Game Reserve.
Guests can fly or drive into Maun, where our team will meet you and drive you into a particularly beautiful part of Moremi – Third Bridge Camp. Third Bridge borders on the Delta and Mboma Island, enjoying a heavy concentration of wildlife in the dry season.
It has eight comfortable tents, all of which have en-suite bathrooms with running water. The camp accommodates 12 people (from age 7 and above).
Unfold Africa will arrange a kitchen, talented chefs, barmen and guides, making sure that you are taken care of and your days are spent marvelling at these wild places that may feel slightly similar to the ones you know, but at the same time new and exciting.
Moremi is a prime area for game, and, in addition to the general plains game, we often spot wildogs, leopards, lions, and cheetahs.
Extra optional activities
If you’d like to treat yourselves to a view of Moremi from the air, we can arrange helicopter or fixed wing plane scenic flights, both without doors. This allows us to fly low and see parts of the Okavango Delta channels and lagoons that are rarely seen on during other activities.
We can also arrange a combination of a scenic flight and a trip to Tsodilo Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to more than 3500 rock paintings.
For those who want to visit the local villages, we will take you to see and experience the local life of the Northern Botswana people.
