Meals: All meals are included and prepared by our camp chef, offering a taste of authentic safari cuisine. Enjoy hearty breakfasts before your morning game drive, a packed lunch or a leisurely brunch back at camp, and a delicious three-course dinner under the stars.

Day 1-4: Xini Lagoon - The Heart of the Delta

Upon arrival in Maun, you will be met by your professional guide and transferred to our exclusive mobile camp at the Xini Lagoon area of Moremi Game Reserve. The journey itself is a game drive, offering your first sightings of the diverse wildlife.

For the next four nights, your days will be dedicated to exploring the Xini Lagoon area, renowned for its exceptional predator sightings and diverse plains game. This area is particularly famous for:

Lions: The Xini Pride is a well-known resident, and encounters with them are frequent.
Large Herds: Expect to see vast herds of buffalos, elephants, impalas, and zebras, especially around the water sources.
Leopards & Wild Dogs: Our guides are experts at tracking these elusive animals, and this area provides some of the best opportunities in the Delta.
Birds: The mix of open plains, mopane woodlands, and wetlands makes this a paradise for birders and photographers, with a wide variety of species.

Your daily routine will consist of early morning and late afternoon game drives, maximizing your chances of witnessing animals during their most active periods.

Day 5-8: Xakanaka - The Waterways of Moremi

After a final morning game drive and breakfast at Xini Lagoon, the camp will be moved and set up at the Xakanaka area, located in the northern part of the reserve. This move allows you to experience a completely different ecosystem.

For the next four nights, you will explore the unique environment of Xakanaka, which is a mix of permanent lagoons, channels, and islands. Your activities here will include:

Game Drives: Continuing the land-based safari, game drives in this area are exceptional for spotting elephants, giraffes, and a variety of antelope species.
Mokoro Ride: Experience the tranquility of the Okavango Delta from a traditional dug-out canoe. A poler will silently guide you through the narrow channels, offering a unique perspective on the smaller wildlife, incredible birdlife, and the intricate flora of the Delta.
Boat Cruise: A motorboat cruise on the Xakanaka Lagoon and surrounding channels provides excellent opportunities for photographing water birds, hippos, and crocodiles, as well as enjoying stunning delta sunsets.
